At the core of the district’s mission are four central beliefs: open communication among families, students, and staff; a safe environment; students and staff empowered with the right tools and strategies; and individualized support for all learners.

There are only three schools in this district: Blanco Elementary School (grades Pre-K–5), Blanco Middle School (grades 6–8), and Blanco High School (grades 9–12).

Boerne Independent School District

Boerne ISD is renowned for its commitment to innovation and excellence in education. The district serves students in Boerne and parts of Kendall County, providing a rigorous academic curriculum and various extracurricular activities.

Boerne ISD's schools consistently rank among the top in the state, offering advanced placement courses, dual credit opportunities, and specialized programs in areas such as fine arts, athletics, and STEM education.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the district had students in 14 schools (seven elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, and two alternative schools).

Comal Independent School District

Comal ISD serves students in five central Texas counties — Comal, Bexar, Hays, Kendall, and Guadalupe. As of 2024, the district operates some 20 elementary schools, eight middle schools, and seven high schools. The district is the largest and fastest-growing district serving residents of Kendall County.

Altogether, Comal ISD serves over 29,900 students in grades Pre-K–12. Per its website, families are attracted to Comal ISD for its “family values, neighborhood schools, and safe environments.” Each of its 32 campuses emphasizes academics, fine arts, athletics, and citizenship.

The district boasts a 97.5% graduation rate and will soon eclipse 30,000 in student enrollment. Comal ISD's schools meet increasing demand with state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified teachers, and various extracurricular programs to enhance the educational experience.

Comfort Independent School District

Similar to Blanco Independent School District, Comfort Independent School District operates just three schools — Comfort Elementary School (grades Pre-K–5), Comfort Middle School (grades 6–8), and Comfort High School (grades 9–12). Comfort High has separate mascots for its boys’ teams (the Bobcats) and girls’ teams (the Deer).

The district boasts a 13:1 teacher-to-student ratio; further evidence of its quality are high graduation rates, college readiness initiatives, and vibrant extracurricular programs.

Private schools
